Just over two weeks are left before the long-awaited arrival of MMO-ARPG Lost Ark. Originally released in South Korea in 2018, Lost Ark is a title some have been anxious to play for years. Now that it's arriving, western publisher Amazon Games needs to not only build hype for those unfamiliar with Lost Ark, but also to help distinguishLost Ark's western release from the South Korean version of the game. A new video focusing on Lost Ark's endgame should help on both of those fronts.
Having already been available for three years, Lost Ark has already received multiple updates expanding the MMO's endgame. The new video from Amazon helps establish where western audiences can expect to begin, which is unsurprisingly from the original launch state of the game. The four key areas of endgame gear progression at launch are Chaos Dungeons, Abyssal Dungeons, Guardian Raids, and The Tower. Chaos Dungeons are daily timed activities that can be completed solo or in a group, rewarding incremental gear items and upgrade material. Abyssal Dungeons are more difficult and so offer better rewards, but each dungeon can only be completed once per week. Guardian Raids are challenging single-boss encounters that are also done daily, rewarding accessories and upgrade items. Lastly, The Tower is a solo experience with progressively more difficult levels and better rewards, including highly valuable Skill Point potions to max out Skill Trees.
