has offered up an update on the status of The Ice Road 2, teasing what fans can expect from the upcoming sequel to the 2021 action movie.
Speaking to ComingSoon in a recent interview, Neeson opened up about The Ice Road 2, noting that the film is set in Nepal and will feature roads that lead up to the infamous Mount Everest.
“Well, the second one is set in Nepal, and the little roads leading up into the Himalayas and subsequently up to Mount Everest,” said Neeson of The Ice Road 2. “We shot it in Melbourne. The sequel will see Neeson reprise his role as ice road driver Mike McCann, who is traveling to Nepal to honor his late brother’s last wishes of scattering his ashes on Mt.
