Kirby and the Forgotten Land launches for the Nintendo Switch on March 25, 2022. It's an exciting time for many Kirby fans, as this is the first time that the iconic pink puffball has entered the 3D space, at least for a mainline adventure. For those that decide to pick up Kirby and the Forgotten Land physically, they will, of course, have to wait until they have the game in their hands before they can play, but for those that opt-in for the digital version, they can play it a little earlier than usual. Once Switch owners head on over to the eShop to pre-order Kirby and the Forgotten Lands, the game will appear on the home screen, but it will be unplayable until a specific time. While Nintendo has not officially come out and said the release time for Kirby, its official site shows the expected release times for most first-party games, and Kirby and the Forgotten Land falls into that category.
The expected digital release and unlock time for Kirby and the Forgotten Land is 9 PM PT the night before the physical game's release date. This means that most players will be able to hop into the game the night before the launch, which would be tonight, Thursday, March 24, 2022.
