Kirby and the Forgotten Land is the series' first venture into being fully 3D. As a result, many aspects of the Kirby formula had to change to match how the gameplay would need to work. This is also true for the bosses, who still boast devastating attacks that are difficult to dodge, but in new ways that may surprise even long-time Kirby veterans. One of the bosses that showcases just what this game can do to challenge players is Leongar, who may seem hard at first, but only gets tougher as the fight goes on.
Before the fight begins, fans should make sure they're prepared. Players enter Lab Discovera for the first time without any warning due to how the story plays out. Thankfully, the game takes this into account and provides fans with a Maximum Tomato and a few Copy Abilities for players to take if they decide they want to choose another ability.
For those who want an easier time against Leogar, however, the Tornado, Hammer, and Ranger Copy Abilities work best. Using the upgraded versions of these abilities will also make the fight much more manageable.

Leongar's first attack of choice is always a slash of his claws, which may remind players of Gorimondo's slow swipe attacks during Kirby and the Forgotten Land's first boss battle.
These can be easily jumped over, but sometimes the lion will follow up the attack by slamming his paws into the ground
