Oh, would you look at that. SNK has released another classic fighting game as part of the ACA NeoGeo library. This time round we’ve got King of Fighters ’95. What a time to be alive and creating content.
There are plenty of fighting game purists who wax lyrical about the KoF series, which is fair enough. They’re wrong about it being the best, but it’s fine to have different opinions. We suppose.
This is the second game in the King of Fighters series, following on from King of Fighters ’94. It’s got a cast of characters to pick from that you’re either going to be very familiar with, or greet with an apathetic shrug.
There are some interesting additions though, including a team-edit function that lets you throw together your favorite fighters for some pleasant punch-kicking. And various additions to the roster too.
Plus there’s the usual ACA NeoGeo shenanigans going on that make the game more pleasurable to play on touchscreen. Even though you should really only play fighting games with an arcade stick. Just sayin’.
If you’d like to give King of Fighters ’95 ACA NeoGeo a go you can click here to download it from the Play Store. It’s a premium game and it’ll set you back $3.99 to pick it up.
