Donkey Kong's funky victory animation from Mario Strikers: Battle League has been turned into a meme.
The first Mario Strikers game on Wii featured several different victory and loss animations for all of its playable characters, including the infamous "suck it" motion that Waluigi can occasionally perform. In keeping with the series' tradition, Mario Strikers: Battle League has a range of vibrant animations that can play depending on if your team scores, concedes a goal, or wins the match.

These animations are getting a ton of love for how they bring Mario and the gang to life, but one in particular has set the internet ablaze. If Donkey Kong scores a goal, a number of different animations can play, including one where he starts smacking his hands on the ground and breakdancing, clearly inspired by games like Donkey Konga and Jungle Beat.
The dance was instantly highlighted on Twitter for how perfectly it reflects Donkey Kong's personality, but the internet has already gone one step further and turned it into a meme. These memes take Donkey Kong's animations and place them over popular songs, Nintendo or otherwise, and make it so that Donkey Kong is dancing and clapping to the beat. Many of the memes point out that Donkey Kong's animations can fit with pretty much any song.
There are a ton of examples out there already, but one of the best we've seen so far is one of the best crossovers we've seen - Donkey Kong dancing to King Dedede's incredible theme from Kirby and the Forgotten Land. Never has it been more fitting to see Donkey Kong clapping his hands ferociously to the beat.
