While Team South Town was only just introduced as recently as KOF 14, the members present in The King of Fighters 15's version have all worked with one another in some form throughout the historic run of the series. However, with Hein gone from the roster, we see one of the strongest iterations of "Team Outlaw" come together in KOF 15.

Team South Town is a mix of brutal and vicious characters, which is on par with what you'd expect. The leader of Team South Town is the ever intimidating Geese Howard, followed by his second-in-command, Billy Kane, that wields a devastating staff. And rounding out the squad is the one and only Ryuji Yamazaki, who used to be a broker and one of the Eight Hakkesshu of Orochi.
Fighting games can often have obtuse or convoluted terminology, making it challenging for some people to understand who may be jumping into the genre or franchise for the first time.
