The Kardashians fans are accusing Kim Kardashian of being insensitive to mental health issues after a comment she made to sister Kendall during an interview. The eldest Jenner daughter grew up in a different era than Kim did. Born in 1995, the model is 15 years younger than her sister and on the cusp of the Millennial-Gen Z generational divide. The younger generations are notorious for being more sensitive and in touch with their emotions and strong advocates for mental health awareness. Kendall has shared her experience with anxiety several times, as well as some of the other ways she copes with it. Kendall's younger sister Kylie has also been open about her experiences with anxiety and recently was candid with fans about her postpartum struggles.
Kim, on the other hand, has been less open about mental health and instead is passionate about working hard, sometimes to the point where fans think she may be overworking herself. It's no secret that Kim's fans did not receive her Variety advice to businesswomen well, but some fans are now questioning if it is healthy for the star to be so dedicated to working hard all of the time. In an episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, the mother of four told Kendall that she would show up to work even if she was on her death bed, and momager Kris expects that of her but is more understanding of Kendall not working because she has anxiety. The model was visibly upset by this comment and defended herself, saying that despite her anxiety, she still works very hard.
