Kenny Omega hasn't appeared in a wrestling match since dropping the AEW World Championship to «Hangman» Adam Page at AEW Full Gear last November. That wasn't just the last time he performed for All Elite; that's the last time The Best Bout Machine wrestled, full-stop. It put a period on one of the federation's best and most important storylines, crowning Page champion after a long climb, and it also led to Omega taking time off to heal from several injuries, some of which required surgery.
During his time away, AEW has taken on numerous storylines and hasn't really missed a beat. Page has established himself as an entertaining champion, CM Punk has continued his climb to the top of the ladder, and Adam Cole has been divided between the Young Bucks and reDRagon.

The leaves a lot that Omega could sink his teeth into upon returning to in-ring action. It's not clear at this time just when The Cleaner will wrestle for AEW again, but Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com is reporting that Omega has been active behind the scenes lately. «While there is no known timetable on his potential return to the ring, Kenny Omega has been back at AEW TV tapings the last several weeks working behind the scenes, including producing some of the women's division matches, PWInsider.com has confirmed,» Johnson wrote on a recent post to the website.
It's unclear when Omega will be able to perform in front of fans again, but him hanging around backstage would certainly seem to be a step in the right direction. It's been rumored that AEW won't be rolling out trios titles until Omega can join up with The Young Bucks, and those trios' storylines seem to be developing rapidly. The emergence
