Ken Jeong pokes fun at the recent Avengers: The Kang Dynasty announcement with a hysterical piece of Marvel Cinematic Universe art. In the wake of Avengers: Endgame, rumors began to circulate suggesting Kang the Conqueror would be the MCU’s next big bad. Then, in Disney+’s Loki, Tom Hiddleston’s God of Mischief was arrested by the Time Variance Authority. This eventually led to him and Sylvie meeting Jonathan Majors’ He Who Remains—the man who would become Kang in an infinite number of universes.
Even before the Sacred Timeline was liberated and Kang was unleashed on the multiverse, it was announced that Majors would appear as the villain in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. At this year’s San Diego Comic-Con, Kevin Feige and company laid out Marvel Studios’ plans for Phases 5 and 6, culminating with Avengers: The Kang Dynasty and Secret Wars in 2025. Per He Who Remains’ prediction, the MCU is about to be home to several different Kangs, who will be played by Majors at every turn.
