Luckily for Queer Eye fans, Karamo Brown revealed he has no intentions of leaving the Netflix show when he starts filming his new talk show. On April 13th, it was announced that Karamo will be getting his own daytime talk show in fall 2022. The show will revolve around some topics the activist also discusses on Queer Eye, like infidelity, race, parenting, and complex family dynamics. When announcing the news, Karamo shared that it had been a lifelong dream of his to host a talk show, but he never believed it was actually possible. As a child, he enjoyed watching shows like Maury, and he's excited to finally get to be the star of his own similar show.
Karamo gained recognition on the Netflix series as a part of the Queer Eye fab five, alongside Tan France, Bobby Berk, Antoni Porowski, and Jonathan Van Ness. His focus on the show is to help others see their worth and cope with some of the hardships life has thrown their way. He typically sits down with the hero of the episode and gives them a pep talk and a sympathetic ear for them to talk about their struggles and feel heard, which most of them don't in their everyday lives. Karamo has also starred on MTV's The Real World: Philadelphia in 2004 and, in 2021, replaced Ryan Seacrest as the host of E! Live From The Red Carpet.
