Warning! Spoilers ahead for Daredevil #3
Following the events of Marvel Comics' Devil's Reign, it's being teased that Daredevil will be looking to form a new team of heroes. With Matt Murdock publicly believed to be dead, the Man Without Fear now has the singular purpose of keeping Hell's Kitchen safe as a vigilante. Furthermore, he's finally agreed to join his love interest Elektra Natchios in her war against the dark ninja clan known as the Hand. While Murdock apparently wants to recruit more allies to join their fight, that may be easier said than done.
During Devil's Reign, Matt Murdock's brother Mike was murdered by Mayor Wilson Fisk aka the Kingpin. Seeing as how Mike had been posing as Matt for quite some time while Daredevil was serving time in prison, Fisk believed he had finally killed his nemesis. While the real Daredevil went after Kingpin with a vengeance, the aftermath of their battle saw Fisk escaping custody and fleeing the country with his new bride Typhoid Mary. Now, Daredevil will be joining forces with Elektra, who took over as Daredevil during his incarceration, kickstarting a new era for Marvel's Daredevil series with a new renumbering while still having the same dynamic creative team of Chip Zdarksy, Marco Checchetto, and more incredible artists.
