Kandi & The Gang: Meet Shawndreca Robinson, OLG's Host
Kandi Burrus' new spin-off on Bravo, Kandi and the Gang, revolves around the staff of her restaurant, the Old Lady Gang, and among them is entrepreneur and hostess Shawndreca Robinson.The series is not Kandi’s first spin-off with Bravo. In the past, The Real Housewives of Atlanta star has spearheaded other spin-off series such as The Kandi Factory, Kandi’s Wedding, andKandi’s Ski Trip.
Kandi and her husband, Todd Tucker, have always wanted to open up a family restaurant. They were able to realize that dream through when they started OLG. Kandi's mother, Mama Joyce, and her aunties, Nora and Bertha, were the inspiration behind the now-famous Atlanta restaurant. As for the dishes, OLG is known for serving southern comfort food inspired by their family recipes. Kandi also has several family members working at the restaurant, including her godsons, Patrick and Melvin, and the OLG trio occasionally helps out. Although Shawndreca is not related to long-time RHOA star Kandi, she is among the original staff of the OLG and is considered family.

Shawndreca, originally from Buffalo, New York, moved to Atlanta after graduation. According to her Kandi & The Gang bio on Bravo, she was the first self-proclaimed original hostess for OLG since the restaurant opened back in 2017. Besides her hosting gig, Shawndreca is also an entrepreneur. On Kandi & The Gang, her side hustle is listed as selling designer sunglasses through her company, Shades by Dreca, which she founded after the COVID-19 pandemic hit. Judging by her profile, Shawndreca also operates several Airbnb rental houses, rents out kids bounce houses and even teaches swimming lessons.
