It appears that Jurassic World Dominion will release an extended version of the film on home video. Currently in theaters, Jurassic World Dominion is the final chapter in the Jurassic World trilogy, seemingly bringing the franchise to a close. Directed by Colin Trevorrow, Jurassic World Dominion brings together the franchise stars of Jurassic Park and Jurassic World, including Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Sam Neill, Laura Dern, and Jeff Goldblum, as well as supporting actors like DeWanda Wise, BD Wong, Mamoudou Athie, Isabella Sermon, Omar Sy, Justice Smith, and Campbell Scott.
To date, Jurassic World Dominion has pulled in $438 million worldwide and is sure to continue its climb over the long weekend. While it's the worst-reviewed entry in the franchise by critics, sitting at 30% on Rotten Tomatoes, it's also the second-highest rated among fans, sitting at 78%, just under the originalJurassic Park, which is the highest-rated for audiences at 91%. The mixed ratings provide for a perplexing prognosis over how it will perform over the long haul, but thus far, it has beat expectations and appears to be beating the critic ratings. Now there's some new incentive to watch the movie when it hits home video.
