A new fan-made poster imagines the musicalJoker 2 as a La La Land parody. Recently the news hit that Todd Phillips and Joaquin Phoenix are going ahead with a sequel to 2019's Joker. But this week the true bombshell was dropped when it was reported that Lady Gaga is in talks to star alongside Phoenix as Harley Quinn, and that the movie could be a musical.
Margot Robbie has of course owned the character of Harley Quinn since her debut as the comic book anti-hero in 2016’s Suicide Squad. But recasting the role with Lady Gaga allowsJoker 2 to remain separate from the rest of the DCEU, as the original Joker was. The presence of worldwide pop superstar Lady Gaga also allows the movie to go down a very unexpected road by becoming a musical. And reports are that Joker 2 will indeed dial up the fantasy by offering up a musical version of Joker and Harley Quinn.

Noted fan artist BossLogic unsurprisingly went to work immediately upon hearing all this Joker 2 news, offering up an interesting take on what Lady Gaga might look like on Harley Quinn.
