Beloved director and gamer John Carpenter is just as excited to dive into Horizon Forbidden West as everyone else. Despite being 71 years old and incredibly busy in his career, John Carpenter is an avid gamer, demonstrating that the medium is for everyone. The director, whose credits include horror classics like Halloween and The Thing, has sung the praises of numerous games of all genres over the years, but Horizon Forbidden West is something he's chomping at the bit to play.
Earlier this year, John Carpenter praised Halo Infinite as the best in the series, citing the game's production design and fun gameplay in his reasoning. Many fans of the Halo franchise echoed this opinion. Carpenter has talked regularly over the years about his continued love of games and even worked on one himself.
