Resident Evil fans are being treated to some new thrilling content this year. Not only do we have the upcoming release of the Resident Evil 4 remake, but we have a new animated film this summer. If you haven’t already caught the announcement, Resident Evil Death Island will enter the marketplace this summer. We’re getting a brand new storyline and one that features Jill Valentine. We haven’t seen Jill Valentine in quite some time, so there are bound to be quite a few fans eager to see this film pick up on the character once again. However, if you took notice of the trailer, you might have wondered just why Jill Valentine doesn’t look to have aged much since the earlier Resident Evil installments.
Jill Valentine is a staple character for the franchise, but while other characters have clearly aged, Jill looks more or less the same. Of course, we know that Resident Evil Death Island occurs between the events of Resident Evil 6 and Resident Evil 7. So it’s not a film set during an earlier period of the franchise. But now, thanks to a tweet from the official Resident Evil Portal account, we’re given a little more insight into Jill Valentine’s appearance.

According to the bio, Jill Valentine’s past infection with the T-Virus has slowed her aging. If you recall, Resident Evil 5 featured Jill Valentine infected, which is likely a game some fans of the franchise would likely pass up. It wasn’t the biggest hit with fans as it changed up
