Classic roller-blading, street-tagging franchise Jet Set Radio is crossing over with free-to-play sports game Roller Champions later in June.
The crossover includes new superstars Beat or Gum from the classic game and a re-skinned skatepark inspired by the bus station from Jet Set Radio's setting: the city of Tokyo-to. Players can also check out a new quest, a player banner, and new goal effects. Players can check out the crossover on June 27.

The last title in the series, Jet Set Radio Future, was released more than 20 years ago. The original Jet Set Radio was a Sega Dreamcast exclusive. An HD remaster was released on Xbox 360, PS3, mobile platforms, and PC in 2012. Roller Champion is far from the only game to get Jet Set Radio crossover. Characters and environments from the series are featured in Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed, Sega Superstars Tennis, and Super Monkey Ball: Banana Mania.
There is a spiritual successor on the way, as Bomb Rush Cyberfunk is set to release on August 18. Developed by Team Repile, which created Lethal League Blaze, the game also features contribution from Jet Set Radio composer Hideki Naganuma. A report from last year alleged that Sega was working on a Jet Set Radio reboot, but any concrete details have yet to emerge.
