The Jackassfranchise is back once again with Jackass Forever, and some familiar faces are returning alongside some impressive guest cameos. The slapstick comedy, directed by Jeff Tremaine, is known for pulling dangerous — and sometimes disgusting — physical stunts. The Jackass crew has expanded over the years, and now some new blood and A-list celebrities are risking their safety alongside members of the original crew. Jackass began as an MTV series that ran from 2000 to 2002. Created by Jeff Tremaine, Spike Jonze, and Johnny Knoxville, the show focused on a combination of physical stunts, pranks, and toilet humor to pull some laughs from audiences. Many of the original Jackass crew can be found in Jackass Forever, still pulling off wild feats for the sake of comedy. Unsurprisingly, the Jackass series was controversial, with many parents hating it but an entire generation of teenagers and young adults loving it. The franchise has now spun off into six movies, including Jackass Forever, to great success.

Jackass Forever wasn't without its own controversy, though. Like many movies as of late, the sequel was delayed due to complications caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. Then, sadly, original Jackass crew member Bam Margera was fired from Jackass Forever after breaking his agreement to remain sober during production — and director Tremaine even took out a restraining order against him.
