It can be a lot to decompress if you’re new to the game let alone a Squad Leader role. So to help you learn the basics to hit the ground running, here’s a handy guide to the Officer Class in Isonzo.
Unlike the men of which they command, the Officers play quite a bit differently from your average rifleman on the field. First and foremost they use a pistol, so they can get more rounds off and they have a toolkit full of useful equipment that can turn their squad into an efficient fighting force on the frontlines.
The two strongest items in their arsenal are the Flare Gun and the Binoculars. The Flares can be used to mark positions for artillery, airstrikes, gas, reconnaissance, and more, whilst the Binoculars highlight enemy positions on the battlefield like a scanner. Used in combination and they can be extremely helpful in the battlefield and that’s not including their other ability to force instant spawns for a limited time. All in all, a very useful role.
