A recent mod for The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim now makes it possible to swap out sword fighting and magic for a cushy office job. While there are plenty of games out there based on real life jobs, including one that's literally called Job Simulator, the opportunity to ignore dragon-slaying and dangerous questing in general in favor of the mundanity of the standard 9-5 is now a reality in Bethesda's 2011 epic.

However, these pertain to the general gameplay that most players experience, especially when it comes to high-octane action. But for those who want to put the brakes on in the world of Tamriel and do the complete opposite of all this heroism can now do so thanks to this fan-made add-on.
Skyrim Player Uses Illusion Magic to Hang Out With Bandits

Created to give a sense of being at work in the real world, the modification comes with a number of features, such as salary and performance systems, with the latter giving players the ability to ask for raises depending on how well they do. There's also a mini-game to help pass the time between the allotted hours. The job itself can be found inside Whiterun's Drunken Huntsman Inn, though players will not be able to access the office on Saturday and Sunday.
