Fans recently rejoiced as CD Projekt Red announced the next installment in The Witcher series. The company is partnering with Epic Gamesto develop the newest entry on Unreal Engine 5. As soon as word broke, fans had already started to wonder if the company will make what's presumably The Witcher 4 an Epic Game Store exclusive.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt was released on May 19, 2015, and was a massive hit for the franchise. To this day, the game is still being played by fans around the world. While players did not need to experience the first games to enjoy The Witcher 3, there is no way of knowing, at the moment, if the new Witcher gamewill be the same. CD Project Red appears to be working with Epic Games to make the best game possible for the sequel to this beloved franchise.

Players began to worry that the new partnership between both companieswould lead to an Epic Games Store exclusive deal on PC. Fortunately for fans, CD Projekt Red has confirmed that there will not be a limit on how players can purchase and enjoy the game. A post on the official The Witcher Twitter account stated, "We are not planning on making the game exclusive to one storefront." This multi-year partnership with Epic Gameswill allow both companies to work together, hopefully, making an open-world game that will rival The Witcher 3.
