Based on a report from 91Mobiles, it is said that an Asian carrier has used placeholder images of the iPhone SE and the iPad Air on its website ahead of the Apple Event. These carriers often keep things ready beforehand, so that as soon as the announcement happens, the updated images and specs are reflected on the website. Apple, unlike other brands, does not hand out the press materials ahead of the announcement.
The iPhone SE 3 is expected to be a big announcement for Apple this year. Apple has let the 2020 iPhone SE soldier on for the brand in the affordable smartphone space and it wants to bolster it with updated specifications and features. All rumours have pointed out at mildly refreshed version of the 2020 iPhone SE with a new A15 chip from the iPhone 13 and support for the 5G connectivity. The rest of the phone is expected to remain identical to the old model.
That means the iPhone SE 3 could retain the same 4.7-inch LCD display with the fat bezels on the sides, and a Touch ID fingerprint scanner on the Home button.
