The iPhone SE 3, which has been a hot topic amongst tech enthusiasts and especially Apple fans for the last couple of months, was finally launched on March 8 globally. And as soon as Apple dropped the veil from iPhone SE 3, everyone wanted to know what's new about this 'cheapest' iPhone? Well, the design of the iPhone SE 3 might not have surprised you, as it features a more-or-less similar look to the iPhone SE 2 (second generation) with a 4.7-inch display featuring the same touch ID. But there is something that makes it an upgraded version of the previous iPhone 2020 and not just that but it shares some commonalities with iPhone 13 too.
The A15 Bionic chipset, which powers the iPhone 13 series, is also packed inside the new iPhone SE 3. There is something else too. The benchmarking platform Geekbench confirms that the iPhone SE 3 has the same 4GB RAM that is featured in iPhone 13 series, MacRumours reported. Additionally, the Geekbench scores for the new iPhone SE show a single-core score of 1695 and a multi-core score of 4021, while you will be surprised to know that the iPhone 13 has a single-core score of 1672 and a multi-core score of 4481.
Besides these, 5G connectivity is another highlight of the new iPhone SE which makes it an upgraded version from the second generation of the iPhone SE and also the most affordable 5G iPhone. Moreover, Apple promises to offer 15 hours of video playback with the iPhone SE 3 against its iPhone SE 2nd Generation and 50 hours of audio playback, while iPhone SE 2020 is tested to offer 40 hours of audio playback. Other miscellaneous features of iPhone SE 2022 include several photographic Styles, Smart HDR 4, and Live Text in iOS 15.
