TSMC will be able to mass produce the 3nm chipsets from late 2023 and that gives Apple the perfect opportunity to use the 3nm chips on its iPhone 15 Pro series. Rumours suggest that the 3nm manufacturing process would give Apple's A17 chip to offer a big leap in performance and power efficiency over the rumoured 4nm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 powering the Samsung Galaxy S23 series as well as other Android flagships.
