iPhone 13 is undoubtedly the most popular smartphone across the world this year. And it shows on the sales charts, as shared by research firm Counterpoint. The iPhone 13 has been found to sell the most in the month of April 2022. In fact, Apple has dominated the list with five models, followed by Samsung and Xiaomi. And the top selling iPhones are not the affordable or older models – they are the newer iPhone 13 models as well as the iPhone 12.
The iPhone 13 dominates the market with a share of 5.5% in April 2022. The iPhone 13 Pro Max, which is the most expensive model in Apple’s lineup, is sitting at the second spot with a share of 3.4%. The smaller iPhone 13 Pro with a share of 1.8% sits at third spot while the iPhone 12 sits at the fourth spot with a share of 1.6%. The iPhone SE 2022 sits at the seventh spot with a share of 1.4%.

“iPhone 12 captured the 4th spot with increased sales in Japan and India. It is the sole model in the list which was present in the best-sellers list in April 2021,” said the Counterpoint Research report.
Samsung comes next with four spots in the list. The Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra, which is the top offering in the premium smartphone space, sits at the fifth spot with a share of 1.5%. The Galaxy A13 sits at the sixth spot with a share of 1.4%, sharing almost the same sales figures as the iPhone SE 2022. The Galaxy A03 Core comes at a share of 1.4% while the Galaxy A53 sits at the ninth spot with a share of 1.3%. The last spot is occupied by the Redmi Note 11 LTE variant with a share of 1.3%.
