The Book of Boba Fett’s Temuera Morrison has opened up about reuniting with Ewan McGregor for his cameo appearance in Obi-Wan Kenobi. Morrison first joined the Star Wars universe in 2002’s Attack of the Clones as Jango Fett, a bounty hunter who served as the genetic template for the clone army and the adoptive father of a young, unaltered clone who would go on to become the legendary Boba Fett. Not only would Morrison later go on to feature in 2005’s Revenge of the Sith as the face of multiple clones, but he also headlined his own Disney+ series as an older version of Boba Fett set after the events of Return of the Jedi.
Recently, McGregor himself returned to headline his own 6-part Obi-Wan Kenobi series set 10 years after the events of Revenge of the Sith and the infamous execution of Order 66. During the show’s second episode, fans were treated to a brief cameo from Morrison playing an unnamed clone veteran. Depicted as homeless and reduced to begging on the streets, it became apparent that life under the Galactic Empire was not good for the former members of the Grand Army of the Republic.
