Ahsoka star Natasha Liu Bordizzo explains that fans do not need to have seen the animated series Star Wars Rebels in order to understand the show. Ahsoka is an upcoming live-action Star Wars project coming to Disney+ from creators Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni. It follows the character Ahsoka Tano, a Togruta Jedi who was formerly the padawan to Anakin Skywalker. This includes Bordizzo's character Sabine, a Mandalorian who is formerly a bounty hunter and currently a graffiti artist who retains a useful knowledge of fighting. Sabine will be a member of the main cast, aiding Ahsoka on her adventures. Freight ship pilot Hera Syndulla and her astromech droid Chopper are also set to appear in the series, though the actors portraying them are currently unknown. Hayden Christensen is also set to reprise the role of Anakin Skywalker, a prequel trilogy character he returned to in the miniseries Obi-Wan Kenobi earlier this year.
