The iPhone 13 is an iconic phone you can buy in 2022. From its design to the underlying tech, it is difficult to find faults with the phone, right? We, and most of you have one – its price. Even at its entry level configuration, the iPhone 13 is eye-wateringly expensive. Gionee, however, has a solution in the form of the Gionee 13 Pro. Forget the similarities in the name, just look at the phone’s design! Who can say it is NOT an iPhone!
The Gionee 13 Pro has to be the most “iPhone-ey iPhone clone” we have ever seen, at least based on the released renders. It has got all the same design traits of the phone that came out of Cupertino’s studios but carries a price that could put the official Apple iPhone 13 cases to shame. At 529 Yuan (approx. Rs. 6200), this is the cheapest way to get the iPhone 13 feels.
The best part? It is not even an Android phone!
The Gionee 13 Pro shows its love for the iPhone 13 right from its camera hump, which resembles the diagonal lens arrangement and a similar LED flash positioning. It has also got the flat shiny sides and a smaller display notch up front.
The differences start appearing when you look at the colour gradient, which is something we had rather like on the iPhone 13. The power key in orange is another difference and so are the uneven bezels of the renders. The biggest giveaway is the Gionee logo sitting on the side.
Sadly, it comes nowhere close to the iPhone 13 in terms of the specifications. That small-notch display measures 6.2-inches and uses a HD+ LCD panel with a 19:9 aspect ratio. The notch holds a 5MP front camera for selfies, video calls, face unlock. No fingerprint sensor present here though.
