Playdead’s Inside is a 2016 indie puzzle-platformer adventure game. It follows the journey of a young boy who is hunted and alone in a seemingly abandoned world. It incorporates many dark story-telling elements and as it unfolds, we learn about the dark project the protagonist finds himself a part of.

Furthermore, it is an award-winning 2D title that takes great inspiration from its predecessor, Limbo. This game does not hold back in terms of action, while building tension through the mystery of this world. It is riddled with some truly unsettling scenes and entertaining puzzles, some of which can be frustrating at times. If you are a first-time player, it could benefit you greatly to know what to expect as you immerse yourself in this dark world.
Inside is very simple and very straightforward. Its puzzles are challenging, but not to the extent that you would struggle for hours. Generally, the game should take between four and five hours to complete without any guidance. Within the playtime, you could also collect all 14 achievements.
While Inside has some intense chase scenes, it does not include any combat. Therefore, it is important to familiarize yourself with the controls. The game does not provide a tutorial or explain the controls, as they are easy to figure out:
