Call of Duty developer Infinity Ward just opened a new studio in Austin, Texas.
As spotted by Eurogamer, a new job ad on Activision's website revealed the new office, which will be working "on creating new and innovative experiences for Call of Duty" alongside the "technology to power them."
The studio has not been formally announced, but GamesIndustry.biz reached out to Activision for more details.
The latest Call of Duty entry, Modern Warfare 3, released two weeks ago and made it to the top of the UK weekly charts.
The title was reportedly developed in just 16 months with periods of crunch and communications issues between co-developers Sledgehammer Games and Infinity Ward.
