The first full-length trailer for Dune: Part Two has landed. The sequel, which hits theaters this November, continues the story from the 2021 film directed by Denis Villeneuve.
The sequel provides a first look at some of the new characters, including Princess Irulan (Florence Pugh) and Feyd (Austin Butler). Paul (Timothee Chalamet) and Chani (Zendaya) are reunited on Arrakis and preparing for another battle. Here's the trailer:
Dune: Part Two also stars Rebecca Ferguson, Lea Seydoux, Javier Bardem, Stellan Skarsgard, Tim Blake Nelson, and Christopher Walken, among others.
Villeneuve, the director, is also known for the movies Blade Runner 2049, Arrival, Sicario, and Prisoners. He earned Oscar nominations for Dune and Arrival.
Dune: Part Two arrives in theaters on November 3, 2023. It has big shoes to fill, as the 2021 movie earned six Academy Awards. It made more than $400 million at the box office, despite being released both in theaters and on HBO Max due to the pandemic.
