EA and Acendant Studios have released Immortals of Aveum's major The Echollector update is now available across all platforms, bringing the game up to version 1.0.6.0.
The Echollector adds new endgame content to Immortals of Aveum alongside myriad performance improvements, quality of life changes, and other major features like New Game Plus and more.
Four endgame Shatterfanes have been added as players are able to continue Jak's adventure. Players must rid Aveum of corrupted Shatterfanes and stop a magic construct known as the Echollector from siphoning The Path's power.
The new quests reward players with new gear including a new Legendary Green Sigil, and come packed with new lore that sheds light on the Echollector, an ancient Arystean being.
New Game Plus lets players restart their journey in Aveum while preserving and enhancing key progression features. Epic and Legendary gear can be upgraded to higher levels in New Game Plus, for example, plus enemies have rebalanced stats.
The Grand Magnus Difficulty is now available too, providing dedicated players with the most intense version of Immortals of Aveum yet that also comes with new combat challenges.
To celebrate the launch of The Echollector update, EA is also releasing a trial version of Immortals of Aveum on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and S, and PC via Steam.
Immortals of Aveum launched in August 2023 to positive reviews but poor sales, which caused financial troubles at Ascendant Studios that led to 45% of staff being laid off.
