The new PlayStation Plus tiers launch next month, and yesterday Sony finally revealed some of the games available in each category. Sony had only revealed a few games from the PlayStation Plus catalog when it first announced the revamp, but fans now have a much better idea of what they can expect from the service.
A massive change in an immensely popular subscription service will probably lead to a lot of confusion. Despite a decline in the total number of subscribers, PlayStation Plus still has over 47 million members, and many may not want to go through all the extensive details shared by Sony. Thankfully, one user made a handy chart that shows the benefits of the different PlayStation Plus tiers.
PS Plus Premium PS1 and PSP Titles Will Have New Save, Rewind Features and More
A user named kabirsingh84 shares an image comparing the catalog of games offered under each of the new PS Plus tiers. It lists them in order, from Essential to Premium, and even includes Deluxe. As seen in the image, the Essential category is the same as the current version of PlayStation Plus. Perhaps kabirsingh84 could have included all the features of the Essential tier to help newcomers make a better comparison, but it likely would've made the image more cluttered.
Next up is the Extra tier, which comes with a catalog of hundreds of games from first-party studios and third-party partners. This list includes Demon’s Souls, Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Returnal, Red Dead Redemption 2, and Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy.
