Sony has revealed some of the classic and contemporary games that will be coming to the revamped PlayStation Plus service, including a host of classic games along with contemporary hits. PlayStation Plus is turning into a tiered service, which will merge the current PlayStation Plus and PlayStation Now services into one package, along with an extra tier that will contain classic games.
The new version of PlayStation Plus will launch with three tiers. The first tier is PlayStation Plus Essential, which is the same as the current version of PlayStation Plus; the second tier is PlayStation Plus Extra, which will be an updated version of PlayStation Now with some more contemporary games; and the third tier is PlayStation Plus Premium, which will contain retro games from the PS1, PS2, and PSP systems. The new version of PlayStation Plus won't launch in Europe and North America until June, but it will debut in select Asian countries on May 23.

The official PlayStation Blog and a new trailer on the official PlayStation YouTube channel have revealed some of the games that will be arriving with the new version of PlayStation Plus. The new version of PlayStation Now that will be accessible to PlayStation Extra and PlayStation Premium subscribers will add contemporary games like Assassin's Creed Valhalla, Concrete Genie, Days Gone, the PS5 Demon's Souls, Ghost of Tsushima Director's Cut, God of War, Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy, Marvel's Spider-Man, Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Returnal, Red Dead Redemption 2, and all of the console Uncharted games.
