Perhaps more than anything else, the Borderlands series has been defined by its distinct, cell-shaded look. That's definitely the defining feature of the series. Also, the guns of course. And the loot. And the humor. But the look is undeniable in its uniqueness, and the art style of the mainline series carries over into Tiny Tina's Wonderlands.
While Borderlands' overall style is best described as "cartoonish sci-fi outer space western," Wonderlands is closer to "cartoonish sci-fi outer space western with fantasy elements." Take a look at the slideshow below to see some of the concept art that helped form the distinct look of Wonderlands.
