The iPhone includes a magnifier that makes real-world objects larger, an important part of Apple's robust collection of Accessibility features. Everyone is certain to have experienced times that the fine print on a document is too tiny or the low contrast text on an Apple power adapter is nearly impossible to read. That's where the iPhone's magnifier can save the day.
An iPhone can replace a whole toolbox full of useful household items with its built-in apps and features. A magnifying glass is great but why bother when an iPhone is nearby? The classic wired telephone is fading away since smartphones arrived. Perhaps that will happen with the calculator, bubble level, measuring tape, flashlight, compass, and notepad as well, considering all of these tools are contained in an iPhone.

The iPhone's Magnifier app is super convenient, making it possible to see tiny objects up close and much larger than life. There are several shortcuts that can be set up to open the Magnifier, but to quickly check out what it is and how it works, the user can simply swipe down from near the top of the screen to open a Spotlight search and type Magnifier. After opening the Magnifier app, a camera view will appear with a magnification slider at the bottom. If the iPhone has a telephoto lens that might be used, but any iPhone can make the view larger with digital zoom. Apple provides a large number of ways to improve visibility by using the flash, brightness, contrast, and filter icons that are just below the magnification slider.
