To evolve Galarian Slowpoke into Galarian Slowbro in Pokémon Trainers need to follow an odd list of evolutionary requirements. In its original Kanto form, the dopey yet oddly charming Slowpoke is a relatively common species in, and like most other Pokémon species, it can undergo evolution when Trainers have obtained enough Candy. However, from that perspective, the Psychic-type Galarian Slowpoke is an oddity. Aside from being a rare Pokémon, Galarian Slowpoke can only evolve once Trainers reach an unusual milestone.

According to, Galarian Slowpoke can’t normally be found in the wild and only appears if players use Daily Adventure Incense, which attracts rare wild Pokémon species. Collecting 50 Slowpoke Candy can be a relatively time-consuming process depending on how far Trainers are willing to explore, but there are a couple of time-tested ways to boost Candy gain. The first is to use Pinap Berries on wild Slowpoke before catching them, as this doubles the amount of Slowpoke Candy Trainers will receive. Second, Trainers should also assign Galarian Slowpoke as their buddy straight away, as walking with a buddy Pokémon also generates Candy.
