Scarf Lapras makes its debut in Pokémon GO for the 2022 Water Festival event, and there are two ways to obtain this new costumed Pokémon. The event will begin on Thursday, May 12, at 10 am local time, and it will run until Friday, May 20, at 8 pm. For the duration of the event, players will be able to find and catch Scarf Lapras, and there's also a small chance that a Shiny version of this Pokémon can be encountered.
Scarf Lapras won't appear in the wild, but there are still two ways that players can try to catch this Pokémon during the event. Scarf Lapras has a chance to appear as a reward for completing Timed or Field Research Tasks, and it can also be encountered as a tier-three raid boss. In both instances, Scarf Lapras can also appear as Shiny. Players can complete tasks and win Scarf Lapras raids in Pokémon GO in order to add the costumed Pokémon to their collection.

Alternatively, players can challenge Scarf Lapras in a tier-three raid and get the opportunity to catch it after winning the battle.
