A quirky new feature for Ditto cards has been announced for the Pokémon TCG, as part of the upcoming Pokémon GO expansion set, with players able to peel the new cards should they have the Ditto marking. The Pokémon GO set was originally revealed earlier this year in March, and marks the first full card expansion between the mobile game and the TCG.
Hype is steadily building for the Pokémon GO trading cardset, which is due to release this summer on Friday, July 1. It will be one of the final sets of Pokémon Trading Card Game's Sword and Shield era, alongside others like Astral Radiance. Although the collaboration with app developer Niantic will not be available in booster sets outside of Japan, international collectors will still be able to get their hand on the cards through a series of special collector sets and bundles. The joint production from the two popular Pokémon properties was kicked off last year with the announcement and later release of a special Professor Willow card for Pokémon TCG.
