Fans have finally been given more details for the second summer episode of My Hero Academia along with a poster. MHA is gearing up for an action-packed year with the continued manga release, the premiere of season 6, and two additional special episodes. The OVA episodes were announced last month, set for a summer release ahead of season 6. The first episode is to mirror the April Fools Day art, seeing the pro-heroes and the students take part in a game of baseball where quirks are encouraged.
Until lately, fans were left to speculate aboutMy Hero Academia’s second special episode as there was no official information released. However, the episode title was finally announced on the My Hero Academia website (via Crunchyroll): “Warae! Jigoku no you ni” (Laugh! As if you are in Hell), attached to a new image and plot summary. The episode will center around Midoriya, Bakugo, and Todoroki during their internship at Endeavor’s agency. The trio runs into trouble when they come up against a new villain named Smiley. This episode, just like the first, will get its original release in Japan in mid-June before it’s distributed internationally. While there’s no exact release date available for either episode, the summer timeframe suggests that fans won’t have to wait long to see these special episodes. Viewers have already seen the trio during their internship with Endeavor in the anime, so it will be interesting to see how this episode slots into the current My Hero Academia plot line.
