Horizon Forbidden West is getting its very own Lego set in the form of a Tallneck robo-dinosaur complete with Aloy minifigure to climb it.
As the PlayStation.Blog reveals, the Lego Horizon Forbidden West: Tallneck (76989) is set to go on sale May 1 this year. The set consists of 1,222 Lego pieces and once complete, will be 13.5-inches (34cm) tall. Expect authentic features including the disc-shaped head, antennae protruding from the neck, and those very long legs.
Also included in the set is a base with "Horizon landscape details" on which to position your newly-constructed Tallneck. That detail includes a birch tree, tall grass, and vine-wrapped stoplight.
Isaac Snyder, the Lego model designer said:
"I fell in love with Horizon Zero Dawn the first time I played it. It’s a futuristic world full of gorgeous scenery, strong characters, threatening machines, and a rich story. The Guerrilla designers were a huge inspiration and help in capturing the spirit of this universe in LEGO form. The Horizon fan community is so creative, and this model is dedicated to their passion and imagination."
Fans of the game series will be happy to hear Lego also designed an Aloy minifigure and will include her in the box along with a Lego brick bow and spear. The base also includes a spot to position a Watcher figure, which can be customized with blue, red, or yellow eyes.
The Lego Tallneck page isn't allowing pre-orders, but does confirm the release date as May 1. It also lists the price as $79.99 and confirms that alongside the building instructions will be, "the inside story of how LEGO designers created a model that captures the Horizon universe."
