Screen Rant has received exclusive preview pages for Slumber #1, a paranormal thriller from the writer of the Child's Play reboot as well as an up-and-coming artist. The Image Comics series will begin in March 2022 with a concept that promises to make nightmares killer as the title follows Stetson, a dream detective who kills nightmares in exchange for money.
Slumber is written by Tyler Burton Smith, who's previously written and co-written screenplays for movies like Child's Play (2019) and Kung Fury 2 as well as video games such as Quantum Break. He's joined by artist Vanessa Cardinali, who worked on Space Between Entertainment's Clonsters. This will be their first time collaborating and publishing an Image Comics series.
