Just a few days ago, the Singaporean game rating board revealed the imminent launch of Horizon Forbidden West Complete Edition for PlayStation 5. This news held little surprise, however, given that it was a safe bet to assume Sony would bundle last year's Horizon Forbidden West with the Burning Shores DLC released a few months ago, just like they did for Horizon Zero Dawn and its The Frozen Wilds DLC.
Much more interesting is today's news broken by renowned leaker billbil-kun, who found out that Horizon Forbidden West Complete Edition may also be released on PC at the same time, or very close anyway. According to the information gathered by billbil-kun, the game could launch on Steam and the Epic Games Store in the span of a month.
This would be the first time a game made by Sony's internal studios is released simultaneously or very near on console and PC. Granted, Horizon Forbidden West Complete Edition wouldn't be a brand-new game as PlayStation users have had the base title since February 2022, but even counting from that point, it would become the quickest console-to-PC port of a first-party Sony game to date.
Of course, this information should be treated as a rumor, but billbil-kun has almost always been spot-on with the leaks. Most recently, the leaker provided the official title of the next Mortal Kombat game, the Starfield limited edition Xbox controller and headset, the pricing for Bethesda's sci-fi RPG, the PlayStation Plus games lineup for July and September, the Quake II remaster, the Nintendo Switch OLED Mario Red Edition, and the release date for EA Sports WRC.
The leaker didn't have access to pricing information for Horizon Forbidden West Complete Edition yet, but it's safe to imagine a $70 price on console
