Summer is soon drawing to a close and, in the last couple of weeks, fans were uncertain when they would finally hear word about Hogwarts Legacy’s release date. Before last week, it was only ever confirmed that a release window of the holiday season this year was aimed for. Then, an official art book compendium for Hogwarts Legacyhad seemingly leaked the game’s intended release date alongside the book’s own release date.
Instead, it was recently addressed that Hogwarts Legacy’s release date is now February 10, 2023, which of course means that it has been delayed. This was bittersweet for fans who finally received a release date, though it is further than they had anticipated. Still, February is only a couple of months out from its previously slated window of the holiday, and news that dropped earlier today reveals that fans will get their next look at it much sooner than that.
Hogwarts Legacy Reveals Character Creation Details
Geoff Keighley announced earlier today that Hogwarts Legacywill receive an “exclusive new look” at Gamescom’s kickoff next Tuesday on August 23. It is unknown what exactly is meant to be shown as a new look, and what fans have to look forward to is simply described as a “world premiere.” This could range from a basic look at more gameplay that has not been shown yet to a full-scale trailer with more narrative implications. However, there is one other likely reveal that Hogwarts Legacy could address following its leaks.
