During their time in the castle they learn about potion-brewing, herbology, and defense against the dark arts, all in the hope of being better at wielding magic than they ever thought possible. With Hogwarts Legacy, Avalanche Software will look to replicate this experience for gamers everywhere with an adventure that stretches from the historic halls of Hogwarts itself to the unassuming alleyways of Hogsmeade. As is customary with new pupils, the sorting hat will assign players a house, but one of them is perhaps the most revered of all.
Each of the four has specific traits that are required of its students. Slytherin covets ambition and strong leadership whereas Ravenclaw is known for its wit, wisdom, and commitment to learning. The most famous wizard of all is neither of these, however, as Harry Potter found a home in the common room of Gryffindor, a house that is courageous and chivalrous. The latter is likely a result of the house's rich lineage spanning back generations. The 2022 release will hopefully capitalize on the stark differences between houses, but Gryffindor is clearly the most beloved among fans.
