It is a widely regarded fact that competitive multiplayer games require constant balancing in order to ensure that a meta can't take over the game for years on end. Patches are consistently released for MOBA titles like DOTA 2 and League of Legends, as well as for fast-paced shooters like Valorant and Overwatch 2. With Overwatch 2 having just entered its second beta phase, players on all platforms are getting access to the game before the final version is released, and fans are already seeing some major changes they like and some they definitely don't.
One hero that has received changes that fans aren't too happy with is Mercy.
