Hogwarts Legacy for Nintendo Switch has been delayed. The game, previously set for release in July, has now been pushed back to November 14, 2023.
In a social media post, the developer said «creating the best possible experience is our top priority.» The studio did not give any specific reason for the delay but thanked fans for their patience.

Hogwarts Legacy launched in February for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, and it quickly sold 15 million copies and generated $1 billion in revenue. The game came to PS4 and Xbox One on May 5. The Switch version concludes the rollout in November.
Many are wondering how Hogwarts Legacy will perform on the relatively less powerful Switch console or if there will be any concessions made to accommodate the system. No gameplay footage or official details have been announced yet.
Another Harry Potter game, Quidditch Champions, is in development. Beyond Hogwarts Legacy and Qudditch Champions, WB Discovery has announced plans to create a 10-year Harry Potter live-action TV series.
