Fans of Metal Gear Solid and Death Stranding creator Hideo Kojima were treated to another surprise cryptic teaser posted to his official Twitter today. The post comes in light of a rumor stating that Kojima’s next project will be a sequel to his highly popular game,Death Stranding.
Kojima Productions’ next big title, other than Xbox’s Project Overdose, has been unknown yet cryptically teased for quite some time. Kojima previously stated that he would reveal a VR title at the Tokyo Game Show. However, the only new information fans gained about the project was yet another silhouetted character teaser that some speculate as a new character Elle Fanning will portray in the possible Death Stranding sequel. A previous report also revealed a rumor surrounding an exclusive Google Stadia title from Kojima, but it was supposedly canceled due to the game being single-player only. Now, it is speculated that Kojima’s next title will be a PlayStation exclusive instead and might even be the Death Stranding sequel fans are hoping for.

The latest Twitter post revealed a picture of the silhouette of a character, possibly a woman, with bright lights behind them along with a message that reads “The answer to ‘WHO’ at TGS will be in the next ‘WHERE’.” There are many speculations flying around the internet as to what Kojima is getting at with this news. For example, there have been previous suggestions made by Death Stranding actor Norman Reedus about a possible sequel to the franchise in the works, further supporting the Elle Fanning theory.
