PS Plus Premium has added a new trial that lets users try out a game that came out earlier in 2022. PS Plus Premium is the highest tier of the revamped PS Plus and it comes with unique bonuses. Subscribers in this tier get access to the catalog of games available to Extra members, along with a selection of PS1, PS2, PSP, and PS3 titles.
Time-limited trials are perhaps the most unique aspect of PS Plus Premium as it allows users to play a selection of games for a set duration, usually around two hours. This way, fans get a hands-on experience with the final version of the game, and they can make a better purchasing decision afterward. PS Plus Premium members can try out games like Horizon Forbidden West, Cyberpunk 2077, Soul Hackers 2, and more at no extra cost. Now, another 2022 game has just been added as a trial to the Premium lineup.
Some PS Plus Subscribers Are Getting a Bonus Free Game This Month
PlayStation Plus Premium subscribers can download and play Dying Light 2 Stay Human for up to three hours at no additional cost. This trial will allow users to play through the opening hours of the game and get a feel of its gameplay. Some players experienced motion sickness while playing Dying Light 2, so downloading the trial may help them determine the extent of its effects.
Dying Light 2 was released in February 2022 to a mixed critical reception. However, it ended up being a sales success as developer Techland confirmed that Dying light 2 sold 5 million units in its first month. Since then, Techland has released several updates for the game that add various pieces of content, including a new game+ mode.
It’s interesting to note that the Dying Light 2 trial lasts for three hours as opposed to the usual duration of two hours.
